Pinto Bella Hoops (PBH) Yoga Fusion

Movement arts overlap in a myriad of ways, and in this workshop, the arts of Yoga, Hula Hoop, and Dance combine in an accessible form of movement exploration. The hula hoop can be used as a dynamic addition to our traditional asanas (yoga postures), as a tool to explore our full range of motion, and as a rhythmic guide into physical meditation.

Pulling from the yogic practice as taught by the White Lotus Foundation, dance and movement techniques influenced by couples and ballroom traditions, and hula hoop exploration from around the globe, I strive to bring a new awareness to each person’s movements and breath and give each person an opportunity to try something new, stepping out of their daily habits in a comfortable environment.
