Experience this unique and powerful system of Yoga Therapy, which combines rhythmic massage, acupressure, asana (Yogic stretching exercises), gentle twisting, energy work and meditation. Thai Yoga Massage stimulates and balances the flow of healing energy within the body, opening the areas which are blocked bringing the person deeper into balance and harmony for health, happiness and wellness of being. This system creates a powerful release of stress and tension, an increase in vitality and well-being and it deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver. description from Saul David Raye

Thai Yoga Therapy Training at the Hostel in the Forest
I met Phoebe at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, where she heads the Thai Massage education program. I fell in love with the body work form and brought her and her training to Georgia while I was managing the Hostel in the Forest. I have so much gratitude to the new Manager and incoming staff for welcoming us back into the forest for a second year of training healers!
This year it only gets better. During the week, students will get daily yoga classes that take care of our bodies, while reflecting the skills we are learning during the training. Evenings will provide space for study, further discussion and some campfires. We are also adding the American Heart Association’s CPR and First Aid Certifications to the training and will have the option of purchasing mats and supplies to bring home with you at the end of the program so you can start your practice right away.
Program cost includes: Thai Yoga Therapy Training, Manual and Work books, CPR and First Aid Certification, Lodging at the Hostel in the Forest, three daily meals, yoga classes, and an awesome time with great people! You can also receive a Thai Yoga Therapy session from one of the assistants for an additional fee.
Lodging is in a shared space. Please inquire personally if you prefer tent camping. There is no difference in Price.
